Rev. David Forsythe - Pastor

MDiv. in Theology, Denver Seminary

Now in his 25th year with First Baptist, Pastor David enjoys pastoral ministry and loves the local church.  His personal mission statement is to glorify God by striving to be an effective communicator of God’s truth in both word and life.  He is committed to nurturing a church to grow stronger through worship, warmer in fellowship and larger through mission.  David’s ministry focus is in preaching, pastoral care and mentoring future leaders of the church.  He serves on the Career Interview Committee for WorldVenture and has traveled on short-term mission trips.  Active in our community, David serves Manchester as a call firefighter and chaplain.  He and his wife, Sue, have two adult children, Lauren and Scott.


Eric Dokken - Associate Pastor

Eric Dokken grew up in Minnesota and he has been pursuing pastoral ministry since his senior year of high school. He became a pastor at FBC in 2009.  He loves having fun with the youth and hanging out with his small group.  His favorite church activity is the annual camping trip.  When he’s not doing pastoral things, Eric enjoys running, biking, golf and just about anything that can be done outdoors.  Eric married his wife, Tania, in August 2011.
